Five Farm Baby Bedding Selections
Besides looking forward to actually meeting the baby, one of the things that most expectant moms look forward to is creating a nursery as a special room for the baby. There are lots of choices for decorating a nursery with some really great theme ideas, but one of my favorites is a farm themed nursery. It doesn’t matter whether you live in the city or the country, a farm baby bedding and decorations can be a great choice.
Aside from cats and dogs, horses and cows are some of the first animals many children learn to identify. When they grow up with those animals adorning their room, they will soon be able to name the farm animals and with a little help from mom and dad learn the sounds those animals make. While there are many to choose from, here are five farm baby bedding sets that you might like.
The first is a set by Nojo called Farm Babies. It comes as a five piece set and features what most would consider a traditional farm scene with lots of cute and friendly looking farm animals. The primary colors are green and brown and white. The brown gingham check fabric adds a country charm to the look.
Farm House by Kidsline is the next of our farm themed nursery crib bedding sets. This one also features a traditional farm scene and is sold as a six piece set. The main colors are beiges with accents of blue, yellow and green.
For a farm themed bedding set that is less traditional looking, you should take a look at Farm Yard by Kimberly Grant. This five piece set is bright and colorful and while it features farm animals, it does it in a whimsical way. The long legged chickens, sheeps and cows dance across the various pieces. The crib quilt features the animals as well as the words dream, laugh, dance.
If you are looking for a farm themed bedding set with a feminine look, then Abby’s Farm by Cocalo would be a perfect choice. This four piece set is decidedly girly. It uses a variety of fabrics in colors of pink, green and yellow to portray the prettiest farm you have ever seen.
The last of the five is called Green Acres by Glenna Jean. This four piece set could well be used for either a girl or a boy’s nursery as the green and yellow color scheme is quite neutral. Various appliqued and embroidered farm animals are scattered across the pieces of the bedding.
There you have it — five wonderful bedding choices that will help you create a farm themed nursery for your baby.
