Buying a Leather Lounge Suite

Lounge suites — in leather or otherwise — are basically sets of sofas and chairs designed specifically for lounging. Customarily, they include at least two reclining chairs and a full-size sofa in matching style and covering, but they can be adapted individually: two loveseats and two chairs; a sofa, loveseat, and chair; a sofa, loveseat, and two chairs; a single loveseat and two chairs.

Lounge suites are particularly popular in the south Pacific regions, where homes as well as businesses (who customarily like the appearance for their reception areas, conference rooms, and internal offices) favour the coordinated look. Several Australian and New Zealand outlets specialise in these furniture suites, including Berkowitz Furniture, Homemakers Furniture, Marua Leather, Leather Gallery, Devlin Lounges, and Lounge Suite Warehouse.

The last of those, for example, based in Sydney, offers fabric substitutions for styles you might see in leather, and they add that they will make the cushions and backs softer or firmer depending upon customer preference, because most of their display suites are spring-supported medium foam. Like many of their competitors, they also offer options to buy individual pieces as well as large ensembles, and most of the time the options include any configuration a customer might prefer.

Brisbane-based Devlin Lounges also offers customers the option to have the business build to specifications for spaces that might be difficult to fill with standard suites. Devlin also offers options between leather and fabric covering for their suite pieces. Their special offers at this writing include the Picadilly traditional leather lounge suite that features a three-cushion seatback in a reclining chair and divisor sofa; the Galway traditional lounge that features quilt-sectioned back cushion and round headrests on a recliner and three-section sofa; and, the Hanover corner contemporary lounge, a pair of twin-section left and right sofas aligned to a triangular corner seat, with an option for a matching single recliner.

Marua Leather in New Zealand offers six series of suites, numbered according to their price ranges, with the lowest range the 2000 line. This line features the Furnstar two-seat loveseat with individual reclining and a matching single reclining chair; the Sahara sofa and loveseat suite with double-layer seat cushioning; and, the Topaz, a matching pair of wide twin-cushioned sofas. In their 3000 line in particular is the stylish Capricorn suite, featuring matching single reclining chairs and three-cushion sofa, all with inclined armrests, and eight colour options. The 4000 line includes a Capricorn suite, but the difference is that the left and right ends of the three-section sofa include reclinability.

Those and several other outlets offer numerous options for this kind of seating décor with variable price ranges and material options. For those who like stylish coordination these could be ideal selections to view and, eventually, to buy.
