But if you just have to make a trip to the closet, you can get the stain out of your carpet quickly and efficiently. Using spot stain removers on larger stains like that is not adequate.
Another benefit to renting over buying is that you do not have to make room for the shampooer in your house. If your house is anything like mine, there is not a lot of storage space and it seems like we are always running out of places to put things. If you can clean all of your floors with one machine, then you do not need a lot of extra space because you can get rid of some of the other cleaning tools you have like a mop and bucket.
